Marty is passionate about the Lord, his wife and kids, and outdoor sports (mostly in that order). He’s tireless in his pursuit to know God and make Him known around the world. He fits in fly fishing, mountain biking, building chicken coops, and speaking for  DTSs, amongst this pursuit. His son, Isaac (10yrs., 4th grade), rocks his world…fastly becoming his cohort in outdoor pursuits. His daughter, Sadie (8 yrs., 2nd grd), melts him…and regularly engages him in trampoline conquests, and wrestling matches.

Kelly is quite enamored with the Lord (she says “He’s brilliant, organized, merciful, silly, patient, compassionate”). Marty remains her boyfriend of 22 years...and her children are answers to her prayers! She is joyfully stretched on a daily basis; striving to raise Godly kids, and teaching them to mind without losing hers! She leads worship at church in town, substitute teaches at the local school, scours thrift stores and yard sales, and packs and unpacks suitcases with her husband’s frequent travels.

"God is pursuing with omnipotent passion a worldwide purpose of gathering joyful worshipers for Himself from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. He has an inexhaustible enthusiasm for the supremacy of His name among the nations. Therefore, let us bring our affections into line with His, and, for the sake of His name, let us renounce the quest for worldly comforts and join His global purpose." — John Piper
