Kyle and Kristi Cook
Chi Alpha, Idaho State University Kristy and I were married in July of 2000. In 2004, after working in retail for many years, God called me into ministry with Chi Alpha here in Pocatello. I helped out Chi Alpha here in Pocatello for a year as a campus ministry aide. In 2005 Kristy and I moved to Springfield, MO were I did a two year internship with Chi Alpha at Missouri State University. In 2007 I was offered and accepted a staff position with Chi Alpha at ISU. Kristy returned to school that fall and is currently in the nursing program at ISU and will graduate next spring with her BSN in nursing (RN).
Chi Alpha is our passion because the university is such a strategic place for ministry. Students are being molded by their professors and their peers. Their worldview is being changed during their college years to reflect whatever the university is telling them. As a part of Chi Alpha, I get the opportunity on a daily basis, to impact these future world-leaders, politicians, business men and women with a Christian worldview. It isn't just about sharing the message of Christ on the campus of ISU, but also about sharing the gospel with people who can spread it around the globe. By ministering on campus I get the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to people all over the world, just by sitting down with a student.
I love living in Idaho because it gives me the opportunity to get out and fly fish, archery hunt, and go camping with my family. We enjoy drinking coffee, playing games, and hanging out with our family. We have a 3 year old daughter, Hadassah
